Prenatal yoga classes, online, for every trimester.
Gentle movement and breathwork that prepares your body for labour.
Prenatal yoga is gentle yoga adapted for pregnancy. It combines stretching, breathing, and relaxation, and it has benefits for both the body and the mind.
Physical benefits
- Eases common discomforts. It can relieve back pain, hip tension, and swelling, and may help with nausea and headaches.
- Supports circulation. It can reduce leg cramps and fluid retention.
- Better sleep. Many women find it easier to rest once tension is released.
- Prepares for birth. Opening the hips and building stamina may help with labour positions and pushing, and some research associates it with shorter labour and less perceived pain.
- Faster postpartum recovery. A stronger core and pelvic floor tend to help women bounce back more smoothly.
Emotional benefits
- Reduces stress and anxiety. Studies link it to lower anxiety and depressive symptoms during pregnancy.
- Breathing practice. Learning to breathe slowly and stay calm under discomfort carries over directly into labour.
- Body awareness and connection. It gives you dedicated time to tune into your body and the baby.

FAQ
Is prenatal yoga safe?
For most uncomplicated pregnancies, yes, and it's widely recommended. Classes avoid deep twists, lying flat on your back later in pregnancy, and anything that strains the abdomen. Check with your doctor first if you have a condition like placenta praevia or a history of preterm labour.
When can I start?
We recommend you join in the second trimester, once the early nausea settles. We ask you to fill in a detailed intake form so we are aware of your pregnancy stage and any health conditions you might have.
I've never done yoga. Can I join?
Yes. Prenatal yoga is gentle and guided step by step. Many mothers in our classes are starting yoga for the first time.
What do I need for an online class?
A mat, a wall, a cushion or two and a phone or laptop with a camera, so your teacher can see you and adjust your form.
Will it help with labour?
The breathwork and pelvic floor awareness you practise in class are the same tools you'll reach for in labour, which is why we spend more time on them in the third trimester.
